FUN AND FANCIFUL POP ART
About me: I'm a Sarasota based acrylic artist creating whimsical architectural pop art and contemporary botanicals inspired by the light, color and joyful energy of Florida’s Gulf Coast. Originally from Upstate NY, I owned and operated my own photography studio while raising my two children. Those years helped me develop a keen eye for color, composition and design.
My collection primarily explores two signature passions, whimsical architectural pop art and contemporary botanicals. From the clean geometric lines of Mid-Century modern architecture and iconic Sarasota landmarks like the historic Sarasota Opera House to dynamic, high contrast explosive florals, my work celebrates structure and symmetry. Each piece is designed with a lively, warm aesthetic. Many pieces are designed to be grouped together as a diptych or triptych.
My work has been proudly embraced by the Florida art scene, including an art exhibition at Art Ovation Hotel this past June. Most recently I was selected as the feature artist for the July August and September 2026 issue of Edible Sarasota magazine. Also, my paintings are prominently displayed at the world renowned Art Avenue Gallery on Main Street in Downtown Sarasota. It is an immense privilege to share space with Salvador Dali, Natasha Turovsky and Li Volk.
I welcome commercial and hospitality projects. My artwork translates beautifully to large scale formats making it especially well suited for hotels, restaurants, healthcare environments, airports and corporate spaces. With its vibrant color, strong composition and contemporary style, my work can be adapted to create distinctive visual statements across a wide range of spaces.
From my active Sarasota studio on Main Street Sarasota, I continue to create new original art inspired by the light, and vibrancy of Southwest Florida. My original paintings are rendered in 16” x 16” on cradled hardwood and also 16” x 20” on canvas. I offer prints in a wide range of sizes. Also, I offer commissions as well.
